Introducing our Henley Interlock
Made from the finest organic fabric, completely free from synthetic dyes, and delivered in natural earthy tones.
Simply Sustainable
If it’s not already clear, sustainability and ethics are at the core of Hollow Head Threads’ values. We manufacture right here in England, driven by those beliefs, in addition to our economic commitment to Blighty!
However, cotton fibres naturally grow in warm, tropical, and sub-tropical climates, so when it comes to our global supply chain we have one simple goal. To find and work with the most sustainable farmers and fabric producers we can. We question their processes ethics, and always look for the most sustainable practices to limit our contribution to the fashion industry's effect on Mother Earth. And boy, have we achieved that for our first Henley.
We couldn’t be happier with the result, as our Henley Interlock exudes sophistication and is ideal for any occasion or evening.
Limited to 100 initial units, order yours today via a discounted pre-order function. Deliveries will be shipped on the 28th of April 2025.

Dyed by Nature
Chemical Free Organic Fabric
Our Henley Interlock is made from 100% organic, regenerative cotton — completely free from chemicals, toxins, and synthetic dyes. It arrives in its raw, natural colour, untouched and untainted.
The earthy red and brown tones come from smallholder farms in Brazil, and the creamy Ecru comes from cotton grown in the Aegean Turkish region. And if next year’s climate is kind, we’re hoping to add Egyptian green fibres to our palette.
"Loaded with the warmth of the Sun"
We’ve been conditioned to think of cotton as fluffy, white, and pure — but in reality, nature grows it in a spectrum of colours. Shades of tan, rust, olive, and green have existed in the wild for over 5,000 years, with archaeological traces across South America and Asia.
In Mayan culture, colour-grown cotton was called k’o reumeq’enal, meaning “loaded with the warmth of the sun.” And honestly, we couldn’t say it better ourselves.

Supporting Local Farming Communities
But with the rise of chemical dyes during the Industrial Revolution, colour-grown varieties were largely abandoned in favour of white monoculture crops that were easier to bleach, dye, and mass-produce.
Our small partners are working to reverse that loss, reintroducing these traditional crops, supporting local farming communities, and proving that sustainability can be vibrant, natural, and deeply rooted in history.
A Brief History of Cotton
In the mid-19th century, the discovery of chemical dyes and the Industrial revolution completely transformed the textile industry, and the traditional cultivation of naturally coloured varieties was almost entirely abandoned. Our Brazilian partners project works to re-establish these varieties in the textile ecosystem by incentivizing their cultivation and supporting the local farming community.
Cotton accounts for 22% of global fibre production and only a mere 1% of this is organic, as of now. Our colour-grown cotton is not only organic and regenerative, but the bleaching and dyeing process, the most polluting step in textile production, is eliminated. As almost 20% of industrial water pollution worldwide comes from textile dyeing and we see how these fibres could play a major role in reducing environmental degradation by the fashion industry, and support organic farming communities along the way.
In the current conventional system, a brown cotton sweatshirt may be grown from a genetically modified seed that forces farmers into pesticide dependence, then bleached to remove any discoloration, then dyed with synthetic, fossil fuel-based pigments, possibly containing chemicals proven as carcinogens, irritants, and hormone disruptors. Lost in this toxic spiral, the fact that cotton can be grown directly in a brown shade, without pesticides and watered by rainfall, has been neglected. We’re here to promote this logical alternative and develop a meaningful, healthy, and naturally vibrant fashion future. Let the warm tones of these natural cottons remind you of our inherent connection to the earth and inspire a sustainable reality.
